Job Details: Litigation Officer (Chargé(e) de Contentieux)

CDG is recruiting a Litigation Officer within its Governance, Compliance, and Legal Division. The position is based in Rabat and is a contract-based recruitment. This is a unique opportunity to join a prestigious institution and contribute to professional litigation management.

Main Responsibilities

  • Participate in managing relationships with internal entities and intermediaries in pre-litigation matters.
  • Propose, negotiate, and formalize amicable settlements.
  • Participate in implementing the litigation management framework.
  • Monitor litigation files and, if necessary, participate in selecting and assigning lawyers based on file content.
  • Represent CDG before judicial authorities while strictly respecting hierarchical guidelines.
  • Monitor files entrusted to law firms and specialized external service providers.
  • Monitor court hearings and judicial deadlines, and maintain a schedule.
  • Monitor judgments and appeal processes, and ensure their execution when required.
  • Monitor and process judicial notifications and report to superiors.
  • Monitor and process expense and fee notes related to managed files.
  • Participate in managing relationships with lawyers and external service providers specialized in the judicial field.

Required Profile

  • Bac+5 degree in law, with specialization in litigation, recovery, or judicial law.
  • Confirmed experience of 5 to 8 years in handling and monitoring litigation files (amicable and judicial).
  • Mastery of business law, civil law, contract law, and litigation procedures.
  • Knowledge of judicial and para-judicial procedures (formal notice, summons, enforcement, recovery, etc.).
  • Ability to investigate, analyze, and monitor litigation files (amicable and judicial).
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents, notes, conclusions, and official correspondence.
  • Competence in legal risk management and securing operations.
  • Legal and regulatory monitoring.
