A Leadership Role in Sustainable Development

The Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Sustainable Development Department is inviting applications for the position of Budget and Accounting Service Head. This is a strategic role within the Directorate of Resources and Information Systems of the department's central services.

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will oversee the management and enhancement of the budget and accounting service, with duties including financial planning, accounting control, and performance improvement. This position requires strong administrative and financial management skills, aligned with the department's strategic goals.

Eligibility Criteria

This call targets civil servants meeting one of the following categories:

  • Permanent civil servants ranked at least as second-scale administrator or state engineer, holding a diploma allowing access to third-scale administrator grade, with two years of effective service for permanent staff or three years for contractual staff.
  • Permanent civil servants currently serving as service heads at the publication date.
  • Permanent civil servants ranked as third-scale administrator or equivalent, with at least fifteen years of effective service, including four years in this grade.

Required Application Documents

Candidates must submit a complete file containing:

  • A signed and stamped application, accompanied by approval from the unit head or original administration.
  • The application form downloadable from the department's website or public employment portal.
  • A French-language curriculum vitae with a recent photograph.
  • Supporting documents for the diploma and current administrative status.
  • A proposed work program for service development.
  • The immediate supervisor's opinion on the candidate's competencies.

Submission Process and Timeline

Applications are exclusively submitted electronically via the public employment portal (depot.emploi-public.ma) before 4:00 PM on March 25, 2026. Files submitted through other channels or incomplete will not be considered.

Selection Procedure

After document review, the list of candidates selected for interviews will be published on the portal and department website, serving as official summons. A committee appointed by ministerial decree will conduct interviews, assessing competencies and personal qualifications as defined in the job description.
