About the Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products

The Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products (AMMPS) is a public institution with legal personality and financial autonomy, under the supervision of the Ministry of Health. Established by Law No. 22-10, it regulates and manages the pharmaceutical and health products sector in Morocco, ensuring quality, safety, and efficacy. The agency plays a vital role in public health protection through market surveillance, licensing, and anti-counterfeiting efforts.

Position Details: Head of Audit

The Moroccan Agency for Medicines and Health Products has launched a call for applications for the position of Head of Audit, a leadership role within its organizational structure. This position aims to strengthen governance and internal control by leading audit missions, assessing risks, and ensuring compliance with national and international standards.

Responsibilities of the Head of Audit

  • Develop and implement the annual audit plan based on risk analysis.
  • Supervise audit teams and conduct financial and administrative reviews.
  • Provide recommendations to improve performance and internal control.
  • Prepare audit reports and present them to senior management.
  • Contribute to the development of agency policies and procedures.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Moroccan nationality.
  • Hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) or equivalent in management, preferably in audit, finance, or management control.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in audit and risk management, either in a certified audit firm or a specialized institution.
  • Experience in the public sector is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
