Call for Applications for the Position of Head of Urban Planning and Building Control

The province of Marrakech, under the wilaya of Marrakech-Safi region, has announced a call for applications to fill the position of Head of the Urban Planning and Building Control Service, as per decision No. 24 of 2025. This position is part of the Urban Planning and Environment Division within the General Secretariat.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be permanent civil servants or contractual agents working for the Ministry of the Interior, under the general budget, and meet the following conditions:

• Be at least in the grade of State Engineer or equivalent, or in the grade of Second-Class Manager or equivalent.
• Hold a degree or diploma that allows access to the grade of State Engineer or Third-Class Manager.
• Have at least two years of service as a permanent official, or three years for contractual agents, as of the announcement date.

Required Documents

The application file must include:

• An application letter with a recent photograph, accompanied by the approval of the direct supervisor and his/her opinion on the candidate's competence.
• A curriculum vitae detailing qualifications, professional background, and previous tasks.
• A work plan and methodology proposed for managing and developing the administrative unit.
• A copy of the obtained diploma or certificate.
• The decision of permanent appointment in the current framework.

Submission Method and Deadline

Application files must be sent through the administrative hierarchy to the Wali of Marrakech-Safi region, Governor of Marrakech province, before May 22, 2026, at 4:30 PM. The application form can be downloaded from the public service portal www.emploi-public.ma.

Selection and Interview

A committee appointed by decision of the Wali will handle the selection of eligible files and conduct the interview. The interview date will be announced later.
