Job Opportunity: Actuarial Studies and Modeling Project Manager

The Insurance and Social Welfare Control Authority (ACAPS) is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Actuarial Studies and Modeling Project Manager. This strategic role is part of the Authority's ongoing efforts to strengthen its organizational structure and enhance its actuarial analysis capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will report to the Head of the Prospective and Innovation Department and will be responsible for:

• Leading high-value actuarial studies based on advanced data analysis and best modeling practices
• Providing technical support to operational departments and the Presidency of the Authority
• Contributing to the analysis and control of actuarial models used by regulated entities
• Designing and developing actuarial analysis and modeling tools tailored to organizational needs
• Conducting in-depth actuarial and quantitative analyses in coordination with internal teams
• Monitoring international best practices and technical developments in actuarial modeling
• Supporting methodological and technical aspects of complex projects requiring advanced actuarial expertise

Required Qualifications

Ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree (BAC+5) in actuarial science, statistics, financial mathematics or equivalent disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in insurance, reinsurance, actuarial consulting, or regulatory bodies
• Strong knowledge of Morocco's insurance and social welfare sector
• Demonstrated interest in new technologies and innovation in actuarial practices
• Advanced proficiency in modeling tools (Excel, Python, R or equivalent statistical software)
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-specialist audiences
