The Ministry of Health and Social Protection, through the Regional Directorate of Health and Social Protection in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, is organizing a recruitment competition for 38 first-grade general practitioner positions, scale 11. These doctors will be assigned to emergency services in hospitals under the jurisdiction of the Regional Directorate.

Competition and Recruitment Details

The competition will take place on Sunday, February 22, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the following center: Higher Institute of Nursing Professions and Health Techniques, Hassan II Avenue km 45 Casablanca Road, in front of Oum Kalthoum Residence-Rabat. Out of the 38 open positions, 5% are reserved for individuals with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant, and 7% for persons with disabilities.

Application Requirements and Conditions

This competition is open to Moroccan nationals aged between 18 and 45 years as of January 1 of the current year. Applicants must hold a doctorate in general medicine or a degree recognized as equivalent according to current regulations.

Examination Structure

The written test includes direct questions or multiple-choice questions related to the required specialty or public health field. Scores range from 0 to 20, with any score equal to or below 5/20 being eliminatory. The list of successful candidates is established within the limit of available positions, with a waiting list ranked by merit among candidates who scored at least 10/20 without eliminatory marks.

Applications must follow these steps: candidates must accurately complete the information declaration specific to the required specialty, available on the Ministry of Health website, and include it in their application file. The deadline for submitting applications is Monday, February 16, 2026 at 4:30 PM.

  • Copy of doctorate in general medicine or recognized equivalent degree, accompanied if necessary by a copy of the equivalence decision
  • Copy of original biometric national identity card
  • Registration certificate for persons with disabilities (for eligible individuals)
  • Copy of certificate proving status as resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant (for holders of this status)
  • Authorization to take the competition for employed candidates of university hospital centers, issued by the employing administration

Important Information for Applicants

Application files must be submitted exclusively through the dedicated electronic platform on the Ministry of Health website. Any file submitted after February 16, 2026 at 4:30 PM will not be considered. Any incomplete application file is considered null. Registration in the information system dedicated to this competition is final and cannot be modified.

Results Publication and Notifications

The lists of admitted candidates, which serve as examination summons, are published on the Ministry of Health website and the public employment portal. These lists become final two days after publication. Successful candidates are appointed according to merit within the territorial jurisdiction of the Regional Directorate of Health in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
