Exceptional Career Opportunity: Recruitment Competition for 21 First-Grade State Engineers

The Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development - Energy Transition Department, is opening applications for a recruitment competition to fill 21 first-grade State Engineer positions. This competition represents a unique opportunity for qualified graduates to join a government team contributing to the national vision for sustainable development and energy transition.

Competition Details and Basic Requirements

The competition will be held on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the National Higher School of Mines in Rabat. The competition is open to Moroccan candidates aged between 18 and 45 at most on January 1 of the current year, who hold a State Engineer diploma or equivalent in one of the required specialties.

Required Specialties and Position Distribution

The 21 positions are distributed among the following specialties:

  • Materials Engineering
  • Electromechanics
  • Energy Engineering
  • Environment and Industrial Safety
  • Renewable Energies

Quota System for Special Categories

The administration reserves 25% of positions for persons with the status of resistance fighter, nation's dependent, former military personnel, or former combatant, and 7% of positions for persons with disabilities holding a disability card. Successful candidates will be appointed according to merit and specialty in these positions.

Competition Stages and Tests

The competition includes two main tests:

  • Written Test: Lasting three hours, it includes a general question or multiple-choice questions related to required tasks, ministry competencies, or required specialties.
  • Oral or Practical Test: Lasting between 15 and 30 minutes, it aims to assess the candidate's ability to perform tasks associated with the concerned grade.

Only candidates who obtain a score of at least 12 out of 20 in the written test are eligible to take the oral or practical test.

Application Documents and Submission Deadlines

Application files must be submitted electronically through the deposit platform via the link https://depot.emploi-public.ma. The deadline for submission is Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at 4:30 PM. The file must include the following documents:

  • Application to participate in the competition with mention "Recruitment competition for first-grade State Engineers"
  • Updated curriculum vitae
  • Copy of national identity card
  • Copy of State Engineer diploma in the required specialty or equivalent diploma
  • Copy of diploma equivalence decision for graduates of foreign universities or private institutions
  • Final authorization agreement for currently employed civil servants

Additional Important Information

For diplomas that do not specify the specialty or field, they must be accompanied by a certificate issued by the concerned university institution clearly indicating the specialty. The list of admitted candidates and test results will be published on the public employment portal www.emploi-public.ma and the ministry's website.

Candidates definitively admitted must complete their files with the administrative documents required by regulation for appointment to public service. The administration reserves the right to exclude any candidate proven not to meet the required conditions or who provided inaccurate information.
